Scouts

Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 10½ to 14 who:

* Master new skills and try new things

* Have fun and go on adventures

* Make friends

* Are curious about the world around them

* Help others and make a difference, on their own communities and beyond

Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Scout Troops to conquer the small task of changing the world.

At 1st Doddington, we have two Scout Troops who follow the same programme, enjoying weekly activities and teamwork to have fun and work towards earning badges, they take part in adventurous activities, community based activities, Sleepovers, Camps, and other Group events.

Scouts meet for 1 hr 30 mins each week on a Wednesday or Thursday evening during term time, from 7.30pm to 9.00pm
